Professor Heating and Air was founded by Benjamin Stock, a lifelong HVAC professional with a passion for quality work, education, and honest service.
Benjamin spent 18 years working hands-on as an HVAC technician, mastering residential and commercial systems, troubleshooting complex issues, and delivering reliable comfort solutions to homeowners and businesses alike. His deep technical knowledge and leadership skills led him to the next chapter of his career—teaching HVAC. For 8 years, Benjamin trained and mentored future HVAC professionals, building strong relationships throughout the industry and helping raise the standard of workmanship and professionalism.
After nearly three decades immersed in the trade, Benjamin decided it was time to combine his real-world experience and teaching philosophy into a company of his own. That vision became Professor Heating and Air—a company built on education, integrity, and doing the job right the first time.

Benjamin has proudly called Northern Virginia home for over 20 years. He lives there with his wife, Stephanie, a dedicated special education educator, and their four children—daughters Anna and Olivia, and sons Benjamin and Sam. As a local, family-owned business, Professor Heating and Air understands the importance of comfort, reliability, and trust in your home.
